Fun and entertaining are two adjectives that easily describe Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. This new release has been a surprise hit at the box office and for those that sit down to give it a watch. Written and directed by the same duo that did Game Night, John Francis Daly and Jonathan Goldstein, created a movie that is wonderfully paced and laughable at many times. It features Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis. Coming in at just over two hours, this movie should be added to your watch list in theaters or once available for rent at home.
One of the unique features of this script is how quickly it gets into the adventure of the movie. Even though the movie features magic, wizards, monsters, trolls, and humans, at no point does the movie describe the universe or how it came to be. Allowing the audience to get involved with the story and the characters immediately hook them in from the get-go and progress the story towards what the audience wants to see… an adventure.
In this spoiler-free review, host Tyler Valencia shares why Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is a solid movie that audiences of all ages can enjoy.
