One of the biggest releases of 2023 has arrived and it’s The Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. This final installment in the trilogy was a wrap-up of these beloved characters but also the final directing duties for writer and director James Gunn. How did it go? Was it one of the best Marvel movies to date? The full cast of Guardians returns and features Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Bradley Cooper, Pon Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, and Vin Diesel. This movie features the last time these Guardians will be together and wraps up their story arc that was started in Volume 1 and it’s quite amazing how each character has grown over the trilogy. James Gunn has stated in interviews how Rocket Racoon (Bradley Cooper) has been the secret protagonist of these films and in this final installment, we see how this is actually true. All the connections to previous films come full circle and we are able to see how Rocket’s creation ties into this period in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
